Although you do have the option to transfer out and not keep your service, you will not be able to return to Whoop and receive the FREE Internet service through the end of June.

Dear Valued Whoop Connect Customer,
On behalf of the FCC, Whoop Connect wants to advise ACP households about the possibility of program termination and the potential impact on their broadband service. We value you as a customer, here is what Whoop Connect is doing.

What is Happening?

As you may be aware, the Affordable Connectivity Program has been providing free internet services to our customers, aiming to bridge the digital divide and ensure that everyone has access to essential online resources. However, the program is currently in the hands of Congress, while the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), our regulatory body, is actively working on securing additional funding to sustain the free internet service for Whoop Connect customers.

How Long will I have my Free Internet Service?

Your internet service will continue uninterrupted for now. The FCC has notified all providers that there should be enough funding to support the program until April 2024 with a partial funding in May 2024. Whoop Connect is committed to provide free service until the end June 2024.

What Happens after May and if the ACP is no longer available?

We understand the importance of reliable internet access in today's world, and we want to assure you that your connectivity needs remain our top priority. In the event that the program is not renewed, we as a broadband and technology company are committed to providing alternate solutions to ensure that you continue to enjoy seamless internet services with Whoop Connect. I Need Internet Service! What should I do?

While so many other ACP Internet Providers are closing shop and shutting down, WHOOP CONNECT’S doors are wide open to continue the premium service and support you expect. Our commitment to you is as strong today as it was in the beginning.

WHOOP CONNECT has your back, and the best thing you can do is stay with us as a customer. We value your loyalty and want to express our gratitude for your understanding during this challenging time. Our team is dedicated to keeping you informed of any updates regarding the Affordable Connectivity Program as soon as it become available.

IMPORTANT: The FCC Chairwoman, Jessica Rosenworcel, has released a productive and aggressive letter to all Committee Members that If Congress does not provide additional funding for the ACP in the near future, millions of households will lose the ACP benefit that they use to afford internet service. This also means that roughly 1,700 internet service providers will be affected by the termination of the ACP and may cut off service to households no longer supported by the program.
